Best of the FCBG2020 Winners!
Thanks to everyone in the FCBG Community for helping us select the Best of the FCBG2020! In truth, just about everything about our 2020 season was "the best" and choosing the cream of the crop is just that - splitting hairs between best, best, and more best.
It's hard to believe that it's already been a month since we closed for the 2020 season. Reminiscing about music, beer, events, food trucks and all the other goodness that is the FCBG all summer long... it has helped with easing into the off-season. Most importantly, we are already one month closer to opening for the 2021 season on May 21, 2021.
But you came here to see who won the best of, so.......Drumroll please!
Favorite Brewery - Third Space Brewery
This is no big surprise to any FCBG regular. Ever since we opened in 2018, Third Space has been one of the best selling breweries at the FCBG. We've always loved Third Space and if you pay close attention, you'll see some of the brewery's influence in the FCBG culture. You'll definitely be seeing more of Third Space at the FCBG in the future!

Favorite "Major" Event - 3rd Annual Franksville Food Truck Festival
Even in the rain, people love food trucks as proved by this year's event. In between the raindrops, the park was packed and everyone was having a tons of fun. We must admit that with alllll the food trucks, Live Music, Racing Sausages and so much other fun going on.....this is a hard event to beat! Don't miss this awesome event next year - on September 10th & 11th, 2021.
Runner-up - Oktoberfest of Greater Racine presented by Lakefront Brewery
Favorite Musician - Stu the Piano Man
Stu is a bonafide Racine Musical Legend and this win certainly helps cement that. Stu is a true entertainer and it shows every-time that he takes the stage at the FCBG. If you haven't been to one of his shows, make sure and rest you vocal chords because you're going to want to sing along all night! This was by far the category that got the most overall votes....probably because we have so many great musicians that take the Real Racine Live Music Stage throughout the summer!

Favorite Part of the FCBG - Beer Selection
We work extremely hard at the FCBG Beer Selection and this helps prove that it's time well spent! We do our best to blend traditional and classic craft beers with some of the newest trends from both bigger and smaller Wisconsin breweries. Our tap wall will always have something you'll enjoy. (The FCBG was named "Best Beer List" in the Journal Times Best of Racine County 2020)

Favorite FCBG "Regular" Event - Taco Thursday (Weekly)
Adding Taco Thursdays to the schedule almost didn't happen....but clearly it's a good thing that it did! This was one of our favorite additions in 2020 and apparently everyone else's too. It's safe to say that Taco Thursday and Taco Fest of Racine will both be back in 2021. BTW, how much Pico's and other tacos did you eat this summer? Because we are seeing a definite deficit in our diets lately with less access to our favorite taco trucks.
Runner-up - Food Truck Nights (Monthly)
Favorite Food Truck - Pico's Taco Truck
People love Tacos! Pico's was our regularly featured Taco Thursday taco truck, going head to head with other trucks willing to compete with their classic menu. It's no surprise that they took the crown here - their consistently fantastic tacos are a weekly craving for the FCBG community.
Runner-up - All About Tacos
Favorite Beer - Happy Place
The FCBG is everyone's "Happy Place" and so given that, and the fact that Third Space won your hearts as the "Favorite Brewery"...it shouldn't surprise anyone that this mainstay of the tap wall is the favorite beer. Happy Place has outsold every other beer on the menu for three years in a row - proving you turn to it, time and time again.

The real "Best of the FCBG" is always, in a landslide victory, the Community we have. Thanks for voting and remembering a great season with us!
